New STEVE VAI Album Coming This Summer

Virtuoso guitarist and all around crazy dude Steve Vai will release his 10th studio album Story Of Light this coming August 24th.  Upon hearing this news my first thought was, "I need to go home and practice"; this guy is a beast of the fretboard.  He's also taking his show on the road, covering most of North America over the span of 3 months so make sure to get out and see him if you can!  We fucking love Vai here at MTH so we wanted to showcase a few of our favorite performances of his today in support of his new release.

No one rock and roll icon exudes quite as much bravado and sheer over-the-top'ness as the one and only Diamond Dave. From leading Van Halen all the way through his fabled solo career to VH's latest reconciliation this guy is an all out specticle (as showcased in his very own morning talk show). Any how, we here at MTH love the man and wanted to show off some of his best live stuff! Enjoy!
