Fashen's So Complete EP came out in May of this year to solid reviews, he's been tearing up the DJ scene for over a decade and believe it or not, this was his first solo release of original work. Today we've been blessed with a four track remix EP from Young Robots. With flips from Solidisco, Sammy Bananas, Bang Noyes, and (Thee) Mike B that range from down tempo to sexy Chicago house to dancey disco vibes. Fashen's been holding down Dim Mak Sunday's here in LA for quite some time so we're stoked his work behind the decks translates so well into fully produced original tracks...and hot damn! He's inspired some pretty impressive remixes on top of that! My personal fav has to be Sammy Bananas' slow and funky groove...y'all know I'm stoked on that top-down feel. It's the type of track I'd slam into my cassette deck on a hot summer night whilst driving my 1991 IROC-Z with the t-tops off...and I'd be pulling all the fine ass tail. This thing is hot!
