Cause who the hell can resist this shit huh??? I challenge you to not listen to at least one of these amazing ballads. Nothing is better than a nearly shirtless rocker dude with long wavy blonde locks singing a tender love song to all those wonderful babes in the audience. Babes like THIS.
Nuno Bettencourt of the band Extreme is doing something for a great cause. He and bandmate Gary Cherone played the National Anthem in May at Boston's Fenway Park and after the performance he signed the guitar he used and gave it to huge fan and dude in need Darren Parker. Darren is now auctioning off the Washburn WJ45SCE to help pay for some of his medical bills (poor guy has brain cancer). Check out the auction RIGHT HERE and if you want an awesome axe then buy it! Here's some totally excellent live video of Nuno and the boys from back in 2009.
Bravewords reports that Bostonian metal band Extreme will play their seminal album Pornograffiti live in it's entirety for four exclusive shows in Japan later next month. This sounds awesome and coming off a successful round of reunion shows we here at MTH expect Nuno and the boys to play their asses off for their loving fans. Check out some wild guitar work after the jump!

Nuno Bettencourt seems to prefer using his custom Washburn N4 but armed with merely a block of wood, some string, and an electrical outlet I'm sure he could satisfy even the most pretentious of rock critics.
In the late '80s, Extreme's brand of juiced up and funktified rock blazed out of the cold desolate Boston scene and onto the national stage. With songs like "Play With Me" and "Kid Ego", their self titled debut introduced the world to a fret-board master artist. With their follow up album Pornograffitti the band achieved commercial success off their acoustic singles, "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted". But what casual listeners may overlook on the Pornograffitti album are some unbelievable feats of guitar wizardry; "Get The Funk Out", "Decadence Dance", and of course "He-Man Woman Hater" attack the cochlea of the unsuspecting.
