Tom and Katie Splitting Up

from tmz.com
As you probably have heard...Katie Holmes filled for divorce yesterday from Tom Cruise.  Tom was apparently "blindsided" by the news that his five year marriage (his third) was about to end.  Apparently Katie didn't want their daughter Suri to be brought up within Scientology according to TMZ.  It's a shame when things end like this but it seems almost inevitable when two powerhouse personalities come together they can't seem to stay that way for long.  Lots of folks hate on Tom Cruise but I remember the good old days before he went a little nutty.  So here's a few songs from some of my favorite TC films.

from Vanilla Sky

from Interview With The Vampire

from Mission: Impossible II

from Top Gun

Rock Your Ages Off with Def Lep

These dudes are crazy y'all...been rocking massive stages since the late 70s and show no signs of slowing.  Sure they've aged a little bit but their still cruising around the country playing their glam'd up version of heavy metal to crowds young and old!  Most recently they've released updated versions of their classics "Rock Of Ages" and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" which you can grab on iTunes RIGHT HERE.  Now I surely do NOT recommend going to see the horrible film that stole the title from Def Leppard but I would definitely say you should go see them on tour this summer in a town near you; for the full list of tour dates look HERE.  They're playing a few dates in the south to wrap up this week and here's a taste of what you can expect.

Check them out on Facebook and twitter for daily shenanigans from the band.

An EP fit for Island Life

The debut from Sandwich Island Bass dropped today on Rot10 Musik and I'm stoked to share it with y'all.  These dudes hail from Maui and when not spending time soaking up the sun or taking a leisurely stroll on the sandy beach they are apparently in the studio with their heads down cooking up savage beats.  We here at MTH are no strangers to the SIB boys, their sound has been penetrating our speakers for a few months so we wanna wish them the best of luck with this release.  I'd say the overall sound of this release is a mix of dirty bass, moombahcore, heavy snares, and plenty of charm.  Standout track for me would have to be "Hale Bass Party" which we featured in last week's midweek pull.  Peep the whole thing below and make sure to buy the release RIGHT HERE.

Like what you hear??  Check these dudes on social media y'all:

Wednesday's Finest

Is it really Wednesday already??  Seems just yesterday I was kicking back in the afternoon sun on my sandy beach thinking the weekend could never end!  Alas it did end and I had the headache to remind me Monday morning; since then a mere 48+ hours have passed and it's on to our midweek pull.  Honestly, nothing makes my job easier than producers dropping all kinds of new material for us to listen to and enjoy folks.  Today we've got brand spanking new tracks from Mendez, Willy Joy, Sin Diesel and more so let's jump in feet first and get things cracking y'all!!

Oscillator Z is a producer outta the crazy ass city of Houston, TX and he's been pushing some heavy stuff lately.  This track is a free giveaway so you KNOW I gotta represent it here on the pull...plus it's a massive tune to say the least, love this side of his stuff and seriously happy to grab the free DL.

Our buddy Mendez is at it again!!  This time it's a deep moombah cut dedicated to his homeland of Puerto Rico.  Lovin' the tropical riddims he pulled out for this one, mad props to this guy for continually pushing this sound in parties across the southwest.

Off the forthcoming oo da chee remix EP from Party Like Us comes this slamming track from ETC!ETC!.  It's a departure from the moombah style we know and love but we still wanna send mad support to Jose, Udachi, and this release as a whole.

Philly producer/DJ Saur coming at us again with some more FREE music!  This time it's a debow'd creature with plenty of squeaks and squawks to get the party moving.

Here's a high powered original track from ATLiens Sin Diesel and The Martian.  As part of the Rot10 clan, Sin has been pounding the pavement trying to get his stuff out there.  Make sure to keep tabs on the dude via his facebook and twitter pages for news about his upcoming gigs/releases.

Following their critically acclaimed, Mad Decent released Badman Rave EP, dutch beat masters The Partysquad are releasing a remix EP featuring revamped versions from some of their favorite producers.  I am really digging this reggae inspired flip from Illuminati AMS, super heavy at about the 1:30 mark so put on your hard hats for this one.  The full release is available for free RIGHT HERE!

It is widely known that I favor heavy kick drums, heavy snares, loud screams, and anything else that'll make me bang my head.  This track meets these requirements.  5kinAndBone5 and Vin Sol on some crazy future bass tech here so if you're prone to seizures I recommend possibly abstaining from this track.  It's available RIGHT HERE on their Dawn Patrol release from Soo Wavey Records.

The Lost Boys apparently isn't just an awesome Kiefer Sutherland movie about vampires...it's also the name of a highly talented duo of heavy ass moombahton producers from the UK.  This version of the Lost Boys have been dropping all sorts of core tracks of late and we're really stoked on their latest FREE DOWNLOAD!

Some shady business went down in Canada earlier in the week when Self Evident got his DJ gear straight jacked after a club gig; his MacBook, Serato box, headphones, and record needles were all stolen from him by some douche who got away clean.  In his anger over the issue he dropped a free download for all of us so check it out, download it, and show some support for the homie in his time of need.

And finally, it's week 3 of GDD's Free Willy releases from Willy Joy.  This week it's a trap track...so all you fan boys can rejoice as the Chi-town producer jumps into the pool with the masses and stirs up some waves of his own.  FREE DOWNLOAD!!

That'll do it for this week's pull, we hope you enjoyed it!  Grab the free downloads and make sure to keep it locked right here at MTH for new releases and all kinds of other BS.  Check us out on facebook and twitter for even more nonsense.

Fool's Gold Records, the company responsible for THIS and of course THIS are at it again with a new monthly comp that they'll be giving away for FREEEEEE.  So I'm stoked, A-Trak is probably one of the coolest DJs to watch live so I trust that any collection that he is somehow involved in will contain some of the hottest jams out there.  He and co-founder Nick Catchdubs will curate the releases and will also be bringing the FG family to festival stages around the world this summer.  Stay tuned to the Clubhouse site for details about upcoming gigs and releases and make sure to grab volume one off the Fool's Gold soundcloud below.

FLASHING LIGHTS all the way from Sin City

Shelco Garcia has been doing work in Las Vegas for a bit now so I was really excited when his latest EP dropped on Rot10 Musik this week.  Rotten Ralphie and the boys sure know how to pick em and this thing is a collection of the multi-genre madness the 22 year old is known for.  He gets down with everything from moombahton to hard electro and can often be heard alongside fellow LV resident Teen Wolf but he's not the only collab featured on this release; North Carolina big man David Heartbreak, Burly Wench, BLWNSPKRS, and more come along for the ride as well.  Check the previews below and make sure to grab it RIGHT HERE.

3 Years Later

Wow...it feels like yesterday.  I was sitting in my studio, probably surfing facebook or listening to some new jams when my buddy burst into my studio, "Michael Jackson...DEAD".  I immediately jumped on TMZ and sure enough the king of pop had been pronounced dead at his Holmby Hills compound.  By now we all know the story, Conrad Murray is locked up and all us fans are left wondering why.  In honor of our fallen idol, we here at MTH would like to remember him the way he would want to be remembered, as a consummate performer who had the ability to shock and awe at his live shows...so sit back and remember Michael today, we owe it to him.  RIP.

Team Ups Aren't Just For Superheroes You Know

Seems the old adage is true, a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link....wait that's not what I meant...a whole is stronger than it's individual parts--yeah that's it--as Astronomar and Swick have proven in the form of their new EP, Horse Code (out today on Echufada).  While they may be fine producers on their own, when these dudes get together there's a certain magic that doesn't come across in their individual work.  This release is full of club ready bangers, chiefly among them--in my opinion--is the title track.  The heavy kick drum drives it down dark alleys and takes down all enemies who stand in its way; and when it really jumps into overdrive about a minute and a half in you'll be nodding your head and tapping your foot to the beat.   Check the previews below and make sure to grab the full thing RIGHT HERE.

Keep in touch with these dudes in the following spots:

Welcome Back To Reality!

Uh oh...Monday, that means it's back to the daily grind here at MTH...to cold dark studios where we spend countless hours of the day sifting through the pile on soundcloud trying in vain to bring you some new and interesting tuneage.  This week is no different from any other, we've dug and dug and dug and now present to you some new music from the likes of Munchi, Dillon Francis, Nadastrom and more!  It's gonna be a great week y'all so let's get it cracking shall we??

Let's kick it off with a rocking remix of Alex Clare...I've let it be known that THIS remix is probably my favorite song at the moment (it has been for months) but I'm glad Nadastrom decided to go back to their punk roots for a little diddy just for us fans.

Here's a baile funk track from the PHX homie Riot Earp. Fans of the site know I'm impartial to latin rhythms and this track delivers for sure...plus I love whistles y'all.

Buraka beat master Branko is back at it with a bubbly rework of Drake. It's a FREE DOWNLOAD for now so make sure to get your hands on it ASAP.

Here's another FREE DOWNLOAD for ya...this time coming from Will Bailey who'll be at next month's Muevelo out here in LA...check it out and come to Muevelo to support the movement.

Another remix of "Express Yourself" is out for FREEEE...this version makes me feel like I'm dozing after a full night of raging, so good job Starfoxxx...I'm pretty sure that was your goal.

And now for a little summer flavor...first up here's a deep club re-fix of Aalyiah's "Rock The Boat" (RIP) from Tony Quattro. It's super chilled out and a FREE DOWNLOAD over at the man's Facebook page.

And here's a free soul track from our boy King Kong outta Portugal. This kid keeps the hits coming yet again with a track perfect for those outdoor pool parties you'll be frequenting soon.

The latest from Dillon Francis is a core'd up remix of Steve Aoki's "Control Freak"...it's a departure from Dillon's standard fare which is great to hear cause lately I've been growing tired of his style, so I'm glad he's trying to switch things up a little bit.

Another native track from ATCR...been really digging their stuff lately and I'm stoked they're giving it away for free RIGHT HERE!

What's that you say?? You want MORE ATCR?? Well hope about this Javier Estrada remix? Does that suit you?? It's a free DL as well...grab it RIGHT HERE.

New 'ish from JWLS...he's a Miami kid so it's no surprise that he dropped this strip club anthem on us after the Heat won the 'ship...grab it RIGHT HERE.

Brodinski cooked up a little "Techno Trap" transition track out of Danny Brown's "Die Like A Rockstar". It's available in the Fool's Gold Goldmine so if you're so inclined go ahead and sign up y'all!!

Now just wanted to share two tracks from Munchi's new release...the Rotterdam Trap EP dropped today, my man has been kicking back and taking care of himself so we're ok that he's taking more time to release tracks. As they come out he proves again and again why he's the master, this time he dominates the trap sound with his insane proficiency. Grab the EP RIGHT HERE y'all and rock this thing.

I could post the whole thing (it's all FIRE) but I feel like it's getting tons of exposure as is so I'll just keep it to two songs on today's big post. Holler at the kid MUNCHI in a city near you and support the movement!

That's gonna do it for today's new music y'all...we'll be back on Wednesday with more heaters to destroy your speakers with. Until then you'll just have to live with whatever else I decide to drop on you. Make sure to check us out on Facebook and twitter for more and more and more nonsense. PEACE!

Here we go again!!  It's time for this month's edition of "Don't Be Shy" our interview podcast featuring some of our favorite producers in the moombahton game!  This month we were lucky enough to chat with a really nice dude, none other than Phoenix, AZ's own Pickster One.  We called up Dusty and asked him all about his life as a DJ/producer, how he got into the 108bpm movement, and various other projects he's involved with.  Along the way we got some pretty interesting tidbits and I've compiled them just for you!  So sit back and take 18 minutes of your life to learn about a really cool and interesting dude.

New STEVE VAI Album Coming This Summer

Virtuoso guitarist and all around crazy dude Steve Vai will release his 10th studio album Story Of Light this coming August 24th.  Upon hearing this news my first thought was, "I need to go home and practice"; this guy is a beast of the fretboard.  He's also taking his show on the road, covering most of North America over the span of 3 months so make sure to get out and see him if you can!  We fucking love Vai here at MTH so we wanted to showcase a few of our favorite performances of his today in support of his new release.

Make sure to follow Steve on facebook and twitter for more updates.

When This Thing Aligns With Mars All Hell Is Gonna Break Loose

The homie MADD OD dropped another free comp today (grab it RIGHT HERE)...it's dedicated to the god of the sky and it's eleven tracks of pure latin moombah glory.  This dude has been wrecking things around the world, most recently with a little jaunt down to South America, but now he's back to work chopping up tracks at 108bpm.  The Jupiter EP is pure moombahton which shouldn't surprise those who are familiar with the DC native's work in the past.  He was kind enough to answer a few questions for us today so check out what he has to say about himself and his latest release.
MTH - Origin story!  Name, current location, when did you get started DJ'ing?
MOD - My real name is Oscar Mendieta, known by DJ MADD OD... although i had carried the name DJ LEGACY up untill 2 years ago (but that's a whole other chapter of my life).  I was born in a small town in Nicaragua and i came to the states when i was 4.  I currently live in Washington DC.  I started dj'ing at the age of 14 at a recreation center in Arlington VA with the help of my child hood mentor Edson Bravo.  At the age of 15 I was already djing in clubs all over the DMV (dc, Maryland, & Virginia) by the time I was 18 I had already dj'ed every major club in the DMV. I dj'ed my own Prom and homecoming... lol weird huh? As I said earlier I went by the name DJ LEGACY, so in my home town the name is like a legend... lol ask around. Anyone doing anything big in the Latin community I had something to do with it, one way or another.  By the time  I was 21, I had already dj'ed for big Latin & hip hop acts such as Daddy Yankee, Fuego, Plan B, Big Boy, Nicky Jam, Cory Gunz, Gordo Brega and many more.  I got into production when I was about 19 when I was living on my own. I also had my own Show on XM radio before the merger for about 2 years back in 2005.  I currently DJ for Top Latin Billboard Artist "Fuego".  With the help of Fuego I have been able to spread the Moombahton sound all over Latin America and Europe. I even managed to get him and Sensato (Pitbull's new artist) on a moombahton track Called "Plata o Plomo" produced by Munchi & Alvaro.  My biggest moombah plug was a concert I did in Guatemala for over 12,000 in attendance.
Well lately its been like that... lol in Europe 2!  I give thanks to God for all the opportunities he has given me and I pray that he continues to bless me!!!  As far as the next tour, we are getting ready to head back to Spain to tour with Juan Magan.  Then back to South America to end summer off!

MUCH MORE AFTER THE JUMP Y'ALL

Let The Tears Flow Y'all

There are few genres with as much diversity (musically and ethnically) as moombahton.  It's the type of music that can make you happy, horny, angry, or sad all in one EP!  This EP is not diverse...it's all about the softer emotions.  Cousin Culo and Phi Unit have teamed up yet again to bring you the second in their So Emotional series.  These songs aren't for the faint of heart, if you're trying to get with a girl, play this shit; if you're trying to recover after a bad breakup, get down to it; if you're trying to cruise the strip and look super hot in your drop top 5.0 on a sunny day in Miami Beach...obviously you gotta play this shit.  There giving it away for free RIGHT HERE so get off your lazy ass and download it already, see the previews below.

Breakin' Things Down...Midweek Style

Sometimes it can be difficult to come up with a magnitude of tracks that I see fitting for our long posts.  This week that is certainly not the case.  So much new stuff jumping up on soundcloud it's slightly baffling to me, y'all must be working your asses off in the studio trying to get this stuff out and might I add, it's pretty great work!  New stuff today from Valorous, DJ Madd OD, Craze and more...let's quit talking about it and jump right into the new material.

Coming off the success of his Generation Bass release this month, OktoRed dropped this free track for his fans to enjoy! It's a tasty slice of dembowed electronica with plenty of low end to get your trunk rattling.

No one doubts Bart B More and Harvard Bass' abilities when it comes to rocking a party into the wee hours of the AM. Here, in their latest collaboration for Secure Recordings, they give us a theme song to their long used phrase describing such raucousness.  BUY IT HERE.

Another free track from our buddy :DFace in his summer of free music series. This one drives along in a pitchy battle between kick and synth leads. Good stuff.

DMC Champ and Miami native Craze promised that for every game the Heat won in the finals he'd drop a Loc'd Out remix. Well after Lebron and the boys handled biz on Sunday about 5 tracks jumped onto the man's soundcloud as promised...the best part? They're all FREE!! This is my fav.

And here we have Mr. Vega (1/2 of Sazon Booya) delivering a hot hot hot moombahcore flip of Zegema Beach's "People Don't"...FIRE...FREE DOWNLOAD!

Some moombah-fied merengue from LA's own Jonny Chino...he flipped Tabaco Y Ron into his own heavy kick style...super blipy and dance floor ready...nearly. It's still unmastered and we here at MTH eagerly await the final version.

Some more moombahcore from friend of the site Valorous...this original track has some catchy ass vocal chops and a mesmerizing synth bass to get you worked up right into the thick of it.

Now two from Diabluma Sound; this Steve Starks tune dropped on Generation Bass earlier in the week as part of their Moombahtonista series (volume 007 with Dave Nada). It's a great read, big props to DJ UMB for educating the masses and a special thanks for the free download y'all!

Now this is from Diabluma founders and moombahton "inventors" Nadastrom...not sure why but they decided to jump back into the soundcloud game and dropped a few tracks including this one, which I don't have in my collection, so I thought I'd share it with my loyal readers.

Sandwich Island Bass are a trio of producers from Maui who have recently been all over the moombah game. This new track is a core-leaning ditty and you can almost feel the ocean breeze pass over you as you take in the mass of sounds.

Here we have a new cut from DC OG: DJ Madd OD. It's a great new song in his signature latin style with plenty of bouncy beats to get the dance floor moving. Plus it's another FREE DOWNLOAD! Which you know I dig.

Last but not least, here's a new track from the crazy duo of DJ EJ and MiniMaxX. This track was premiered by Walmer last week and we're jumping on it too cause it's a heater! And cause we wanna give cred where it's due and these cats are DUE!  Plus it's our fav...FREE DOWNLOAD.

That'll do it for this week's midweek pull, thanks again for checking us out. For all things MTH please make sure to check us out on Facebook, twitter, and send any songs you want us to hear at our email or to our soundcloud inbox! See you Friday for some mixtapes y'all!!

Tuesday Night Alice LIVE!

We're not worthy!  We're not worthy!!  In celebration of an all time day here at the MTH blog I thought I'd pull out some jams from the internets.  Who doesn't love a little Alice Cooper huh??  Don't let the fact that he's covering Lady Gaga now deter your need for heavy ass metal from the dude; he's still rocking into his mid-60's if you can believe it!!  He's still touring and adding more dates weekly so make sure to grab a ticket and watch this mad man perform his wild stage show in your city.

Dooze Jackers want you to TRIP with 'em

Gosh, seems like I've got free EPs coming out of my ears lately.  This one comes from north of the border in the form of Dooze Jackers' Trippin EP.  They're giving it away to everyone who likes their facebook page so make sure to head RIGHT HERE and hit that little like button for your very own copy of this moombahfied banger.  It's for sure some chill stuff but also quite danceable if you're in the right state of mind (get it?).  So take a listen below and make sure to grab it and support these fellas!

Don't Get Heartbreak Angry...

You wouldn't like him when he's angry...actually that's a lie, the trick is--he's always angry.  The homie and legend David Heartbreak dropped another free release today in the form of The Incredible Hulk EP which features three new original tracks as well as three multi-colored Hulk remixes.  When I asked him about the EP, his inspiration and mood in putting it all together, he told me quite simply:
"I'm just about being innovative and creative.. I'm just having fun, and trying to be DHB."
This thing is quite literally a monster.  The futuristic bass sounds will have naysayers shaking their heads in complete bafflement by the studio prowess of Heartbreak's consummate craftsmanship.  The chameleon takes yet another shape--a distinctly greener one at that--and will leave you begging for more free downloads (which I'm sure he'll oblige you with soon enough).  Take a listen to the tracks below and make sure to download them RIGHT HERE all for your collections true believers.

Put on Your HOT PANTS and Go Dancing

The latest from T&A Records is the crazy hot and spicy Juicy Jorts EP from co-founder Tittsworth alongside Rez and Des McMahon.  This thing is four tracks of pure energy guaranteed to take the party to another level, the sweaty man leg level...that's like a secret level in an old school video game if you didn't already know.  A combination of future bass sounds, these cats are teetering on the edge of insanity so we recommend you get of your ass and grab it RIGHT HERE.  Here's some reactions from people you may or may not be familiar with:

"Great EP... Drive By will be particularly good for the bigger festival shows!" - ToddlaT

"CLAPZ IS MY JAM" - Jillionaire / Major Lazer

"Here's my reaction http://bit.ly/GR6o5u I'm feeling CLAPz tho!" - AC Slater

Who Is INFLECT?

As you may or may not remember, last week we previewed the new EP from Think2wice records--Wait A Minute by this dude Inflect.  Well the EP dropped today, you can grab it RIGHT HERE, and we sat down with dude to get a little more personal information for you guys; what transpired may change your life...or may not I guess but hey there's a free remix at the bottom so read all the way through!!

MTH - Who are you dude?  Name, Aliases, Location
I - Dude, who are you!? Haha! My name is Brett and I make all sorts of bass music under the name "inflect", currently living in Lincoln, NE...soon to be living in LA.

MTH - What's up with your live electronica band Somasphere?  How'd you guys link up, what's going on with the band now?
I - About 5 years ago, we meet through mutual friends and shared musical interest. Since then, we've played hundreds of shows from Denver to Chicago and everywhere in between. The band is a hybrid of traditional instruments (guitar, bass, drums) and electronic instruments (drum machine, synth, computer).  We are currently playing our final shows for now, as I am moving to LA in a few months. It's been the greatest 5 years of my life to play music with these guys. We are taking a hiatus while i'm out in LA but we will play again! Count on it :-)

MTH - Your latest release, Wait A Minute, drops today on Think2wice...what's the inspiration behind this single?
I - Most my inspiration for this release came from footwork and trap music. I wanted to experiment with those tempos and put my own twist on it. You'll hear a lot of classic 808 drums, retro style synths and plenty of chopped vocals.
MTH - What's your favorite type of food??  Any specific dish?
I - Love Thai and BBQ but all time favorite has to go to...sushi.

MTH - Nebraska...not exactly known as a hub for electronica...what's it like giging around and trying to carve out some space in your town?
I - The scene in Lincoln/Omaha is growing exponentially. We have great venues and promoters that book quality national acts and amazing local talent. It's a bit harder for someone like me, who's not doing mainstream/popular edm styles. But, I love being a catalyst for change and diversity in the scene and I have an awesome crew who fully supports it.

MTH - You've opened for some known artists (Bassnectar, Dubbel Dutch, etc), can you pinpoint a favorite performance/act you've shared a stage with?
I - It's crazy to play in front of big crowds with acts like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Glitch Mob, etc. But some of my favorite shows have been in more intimate venues with people like Salva and Machinedrum.
MTH - When people see Inflect on a bill, what can they expect??  Is there a specific sound/feeling you want to exude onto people?
I - Expect original music and tasteful selections that cover a broad spectrum of styles. I try and react in the moment and keep it fresh, not only for the crowd but for myself. I'm all over the place in my sets but I think that's how it should be.

MTH - What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you at a gig?
I - Let me tell you...i've seen some weird shit. I don't even think I can say the weirdest shit i've seen...you wouldn't believe me.

MTH - Besides the Wait A Minute single, do you have anything else in the pipe that you want to let folks know about?
I - Got a couple remixes i'm working on at the moment...one for Rot10 Musik that should be out late this summer and another for #FEELINGS. Just released a Kastle remix on Seclusiasis and a free EP. Other than that, i'm constantly making new music...check soundcloud for new beats and such.

MTH - Do you wanna say what's up to anyone??
I - Shouts to Think 2wice, Brent Tactic, Danny Corn, $pencelove, BASSthoven, Cake Eater, Lincoln and mac n' cheese
Grab the Nadus Remix of "Wait A Minute" exclusively from MTH RIGHT HERE!

Make A Connection with Craig Williams

This dude Craig Williams looks like he's a bass player in a metal band...this intrigues me.  Readers of the site will know I have a deep connection with heavy music and my beginnings were in the world of hard guitar sounds, so naturally I had to look deeper into this latest release from Rot10 Musik.  His soundcloud page says he's got "limitless energy" and a "rock star stage presence" we'll count those as points 5 and 6 for Mr. Williams.  It also says he graduated on top from SAE as an engineer which further explains the delicacy with which the sounds on this EP have been mixed--that's match point right there.  Connect isn't just a cool video game thing, it's the latest from Craig Williams and it's out today so peep the preview below including remixes from Justin Perea and Justin Weisberg and buy the whole thing RIGHT HERE.

Once you've waded into this heavy piece of electronica make sure to check out Craig in all your favorite social media locations:

Monday morning comes with a few connotations...an early wake up call for sure--especially after a long weekend of raging--as well as the dreaded first work day of the week.  But lucky for you, Monday morning also means new music from your friends here at the MTH blog.  We've been on the hunt for tracks since last week and are dying to drop them on you, now that it's Monday and I'm fresh as hell in the studio here we go!  This week new stuff from MoonDoctoR, Loud Flavor, DJ Melo and more.

First up, here's an edit by the one and only JFK of MSTRKRFT. This dude is the chopping expert and he proves it time and again, this time flipping Autoerotique's latest, "Roll The Drums". Make sure to grab the EKG EP RIGHT HERE

Yellow Claw are a trio of producers coming out of Amsterdam that you should get to know. There stuff is a little on the wonky side, which is mainly why I'm so drawn to it I guess; check out this remix of their countrymen the Partysquad.

Now for the soul section of today's tracks, starting off with Loud Flavor's latest rework, this time my man Jeff takes on buzzcore sanger Frank Ocean and gives it the 108 treatment. Something about soft keys that work so perfectly for moombahsoul...

This track was brought to my attention via my inbox and I'm really happy dude sought me out cause this thing is dripping with steez and I'm more than willing to drop it on you this morning. Kadkad working the soul out of Justin Martin.

Don Valdez is another name you should get to know, in case you didn't already that is. His latest release, the Burqueño EP is out now and you can grab it RIGHT HERE

Now onto the hood shit...LeDoom and Vegas Banger going mad right here with their rework on Kanye's "Mercy". Huge bass on this one.

Our homeboy Jamaal has been putting out consistently heavy duty tracks and we always wanna show him mad love. Check out Cy Kosis' latest track y'all...the kid's got some talent.

Big Makk giving a hard edge to Ms. Goulding's smooth vocal on this re-up...FREE DL!

Oh my, you know I gotta show some SERIOUS love to the PHX fam. Love waking up to free DLs from the homie DJ Melo, this guy puts out some top notch stuff and he's a legend in the movement. Speaking personally, the homie Pickster is a cool cat, the Gunslingaz killed it at Muevelo last week and I've got extra special stuff from them coming before the end of the month so watch out.

Damn, another heater just dropping into my mail. This is a month old at this point but, still worth blasting out to y'all. There's still a few downloads left so grab it while you can and let Kaptain know where ya found him!

Closing it out this morning, a new track from MoonDoctoR...super glitchy bass track with extra hood pads throughout. This dude is on some other level stuff with this one, be about it ASAP.

Well that's it for this morning. Tons of stuff coming this week so keep it locked on the MTH facebook and twitter pages for the latest and greatest from your heavy music friends over here. Till we meet again y'all.
