FRESH Remix Pack from Rot10 Musik

At the end of January, Rot10 Musik President Kid Cedek put out a call to the world of remixers out there.  A call that was answered by many but only a select few have made it to the official release of his Sientelo Remixes EP.  DJ EJ dropped a bootleg that caught my attention last month but this collection of five re-works really top the bill.  MTH fan favorite DOS LOBOS makes the cut as well as Rot10 roster mate Sin Diesel, Dust One, Agro Swag, and some dude called Decepticron (probably my favorite remix of the pack).  Here's what the label says about the release:
"Rot10 Musik’s President, Kid Cedek, brings you the Sientelo Remix EP. Four contest wInners were chosen out of the over 200 submissions via the Facebook remix competition held on Cedek's Fan Page a few months back.
Along with the contest winners Rot10's own, Sin Diesel, was added to the remix EP giving it some home-grown moombah flavor. Expect diverse production styles from fresh up & comers: Agro Swag, Doslobos, Dust One, & Decepticron! Be sure to look for the original tune from Cedek which will be dropping on his highly anticipated Circus Freaks Project."

Early Week Bon Jovi...LIVE!

Since THIS POST has been our most visited blog for the last 6 months or so, I thought I'd give the people what they want!!  And what the people want is MORE BON FUCKING JOVI!!!  The Jov was recently spotted riding shotgun with Obama on AF1 and also apparently gave a personal performance at Marc Cuban's wife's 40th birthday party.  Oh to be a millionaire and/or president of the USA.

Zombies for Money are the Champions!

With all the hullabaloo surrounding bath salts in the news lately I thought it'd be a good idea to get on the right side of things by aligning the MTH blog with the newest Heavy Bass Champs: Zombies For Money.  Their "Bamboula" remix for Jay Fay is definitely one of my favorite tracks of late so I'm throwing full support behind their forthcoming two track EP from Trouble And Bass.  Check out the previews below and look for the release digitally in two weeks!

Back To The Grind...New Music Time!

It's Monday and I'm back in LA...thank goodness, all the rain and cloudy skies was making me a not-so happy camper up in the dirty PNW.  It feels amazing to be back near the ocean and in the bright sun shine of our sneaky little corner or the globe known as SoCal.  In celebration of returning I have compiled--yet again--a tasty selection of new tracks from our favorite up and coming producers.  The best of what our soundcloud dashboard has to offer from folks like Sin Diesel, Paul David, and A-Mac among others.  So, enough of the gibber-gabber, let's get down to business!

Here's a little dancehall flavor from the one and only Riot Earp. The kid is at it again this time teaming up with Hartbreaks for a vibey little remix of the Chromatics.

Dutch duo The Partysquad have been carving out a path of destruction in the game of late...here's a fresh take on one of my favs from them from Italian producers Ackeejuice Rockers.

Loud Flavor is another of my current obsessions and he's just dumped this massive bass driven tune on his soundcloud...a lot of producers are picking up on the trap movement, this is a pretty interesting example of originality in that vein.

Another TX based audio-file, LeDoom has dubbed this remix "Doombahton"...it's some scary shit. See what you think.

HUGE free download from Rot10 homie Sin Diesel. This original track doesn't disappoint, love the syncopated drum patterns (one of my favorite parts about moombahton is how all the drums dance around each other).

Friend of the site, Mendez is known for his moombah-fied reworks of some of pop/hip-hop's latest and greatest and this is yet another example of his mastery. Plus guess what?? It's a FREE DOWNLOAD! Yeeeeeeeee...go grab it and support the homie, he'll be at Muevelo this Friday with his AZ Gunslingaz.

Now how about we swing into some cumbia?? Calgary's favorite son, DJ A-Mac, did a nice little ditty on this Neil Young and Crazy Horse track.

Not really sure what "XXXtreme Dance" means but I can make inferences I suppose. NYCPARTYINFO delivers a little infusion of heat to this already extremely dancy Classixx track.

Here we have another fine citizen of America's hat, Paul David, taking aim at some dembow'd glory and swinging for the fences! Oh yeah it's a FREE DOWNLOAD! So take a listen and contemplate the download, but not for too long cause once it hits 100 it'll probably disappear!

Our last track comes from Think2wice's latest hyped-up midwest producer, Chrome Wolves. This dude is doing some crazy stuff and we'd like to throw our hat into the circle of support!

So that'll do it for the new tunes today y'all...hope this is enough to fill you up between now and Wednesday when we will return with more and more great stuff for you!!  Make sure to check out the MTH facebook and twitter pages for even more updates on stuff we're cooking up for ya!

Friday! Friday! Friday!

Man...you people don't even know how lucky you are.  I'm sitting here, on vacation, with a glass of beer in my hand and all I can think about is how necessary it is to my life to get my weekly mixtape blog done.  Wait a minute, maybe it's not you that has a problem it's me...too much vacation??  Is it weird to say I'll be glad to go back to work on Monday?  How likely is it that come Monday afternoon I'll wish I was back on vacation?  I'd say it's a 100% chance...in that case, let's quit the talking and get on to the mixtapes y'all!!  After all, it's Friday, that means it's time to party.

That's it dudes and dudettes...since this is my first mixtape post in 3 weeks I'm reaching into the past and pulling old tapes out for you cause you may or may not have heard them.  That's gonna be it for the week but I promise to be back here bright and early Monday bringing you the newest of the new and the heaviest of the heavy.  Also, June is shaping up to be a great month down on the blog so stay tuned for big and great things to come.  Make sure to check us out on facebook, twitter, soundcloud, and now MIXCLOUD for more amazing things!
