Springer REMIXED

Last year saw the release of Dr. Gonzo from Italian duo Crookers and this week they've dropped 7 remixes of their track "Springer" from said release.  Highlights include a urbanized take from Nacey, a "sugar free" version from Depressed Button, and a snappy ode to daytime talk's craziest host from co-conspirators Neoteric and Wax Motif.  I was really stoked when these crooks flipped the script with the full length so I'm especially stoked that these tracks are now getting re-rinsed by some of my favorite producers.  The whole thing is out now and you can purchase it HERE from Mad Decent, stream it below.

Midweek Productiveness

Just got back from vacation and I feel like at least a thousand bucks!  I'd probably feel like millions if my DVR hadn't missed a bunch of episodes of my favorite show...Call Of The Wildman.  I guess I'll have to catch up with the Turtleman in reruns but for now let's move on to the newest of the new, the hottest of the hot, the boldest of the bold; it's this week's edition of MTH's infamous Midweek Pull.  This week we've got great cuts from the likes of ETC!ETC!, Chong X, FUSS and much much more so let's jump right into it shall we??

The SPTT are big players in international electronica so I was pretty stoked to see this boot pop up on the good ole dashboard. Digging Nacey's classy flip of this already accessible tune, goodness gracious! It's a free download!

Banji Boys' classic gets a little update here from Brooklyn's own Barney Iller along with his homegirl Fucci. Drop this record at your next 3 vs 3 battle will you please?

The homies 2 Deep recently took a little trip to the central coast to play a gig in Salinas and hooked up with that dude PrimeTime for a little pre-game production session and this is the end result. Oh my, it's a FREE DOWNLOAD!

Our favorite trio are at it again! This time Steed Lord have updated the Whitney Houston (RIP) classic, "Thinking About You". Their classic house stylings work perfectly on this flip; it's free on their Facebook for all y'all.

Damn...I got free downloads coming outta my ears! I probably should be holding onto some of these for myself but you know me, I'm such a giving person! Here's FUSS remixing TC's "Jump".

Y'all know I'm a sucker for some Cumbia right?? That's why I really love Chong X lately, he's been blasting some awesome stuff lately and you should check it out!

This remix from ETC!ETC! was featured yesterday on the MTV Hive blog...sooooooo, I'm just jumping on the band wagon I suppose but damn, it's a good one! And what's this??? FREE DOWNLOAD

Last but not least we have the first of what Willy Joy says will be a weekly free track, Free Willy Wednesdays! This week it's a trap remix of Chief Keef.

Well folks that's it for this week's pull. Make sure to get with us on Facebook, twitter, and of course soundcloud so you can keep up with us every second of every day!! You filthy stalkers.

Just Another Midweek Pull

What's that you say???  You need some new tracks to freshen up your iPod??  Well looky what we've got for you today!  Freshness just as you should expect from us each Wednesday to get you on through to the end of the week.  Today let's start things off with some LB flavor.  Coming straight outta San Diego we got Acis with a discofied flip of the Dr. Dre and Snoop classic "Nuthin' But A G Thang".

Heard this today and had to drop it on ya...DJR hooked up with some homies and brought the HEAT, it's from all the way back in 2010!!!  Grab the Dutch Invasion EP from Southside Recordings.

Here's another club track from the Bmore legend Jon Kwest...it's a free download so grab it ASAP.

Dig the kicks in this new one from 5kin And Bone5 plus really loving the ambience. Got a real old school wubby garage feel to it. Plus FREE DOWNLOAD!! WOOT!

Yet another flip of Major Lazer's latest...this time Dutch producer Fellow gives it an even more reggae feel.

I was really getting tired of this current Trap movement...then I played this track and suddenly I'm back to it!! Nothing like some dark ass music to snap me out of a funk. Good look Steve Starks and Nacey.

FREE DOWNLOAD from the duder Skinny Friedman. This NYC producer is 1/2 of the Philadelphianz and this track is from his forthcoming release, Trap 2.0.

Last but certainly not least, a little moombashment from El Cuco don Mendez. My man is doing mad work right now and this is a must listen. Also make sure to cop his YMCMB boot while it's still up.

There you have it!  Eight more amazing cuts to hopefully tide you over till this weekend's massive parties (I know you college kids are getting antsy for the semester to end).  Fear not!  We shall return next week with more and more and more of the biggest and best in the moombahton world.  Until then make sure to check us out on facebook, twitter, and soundcloud to see what we're up to in our neck of the LBC.  PEACE, I'm outta here.

Midweek Gathering

Hooray!  Soundcloud has returned and so too have we here at MTH with our midweek picks of the best of what we've been hearing.  Lots of cool stuff today from the likes of David Heartbreak, Mendez, Neki Stranac, and more so lets stop the lolly-gagging and blast some tuneage! Let's kick things off with a super chill, "halftime edit" of Major Lazer's latest "Get Free" from the one and only Cousin Cole.

Munchi showing much love for this latin ass shaker from D-V3KZ so I figured I'd follow suit. Not much of a moombah blog if we don't do EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS right?

Here we have DJ Melo taking us on a less than bumpy ride through the galaxy. Really digging his latest stuff on his new soundcloud page. WHATUP FAM??

This track from King Kong is the theme music for something called Off/cina which I am too lazy to dive further into, if you're curious HERE IS THE SITE. This shit is smoooooooth and I like it.

This remix comes straight outta Israel from that dude SaBBo and is available for FREE from Generation Bass. Check out their write up of the Sobrando release HERE.

Phi Unit reworked this Toddla T track and it's a FREE DOWNLOAD.

Another flipped out moombah-saur from DC's own DJ Madd OD, gotta give love to the big homie, check out his latest mixtape "La Selva" RIGHT HERE.

El Cuco boss Mendez just dropped a four pack of YMCMB boots.  Grab them all RIGHT HERE.

Another fucking track from Neki Stranac, he's untouchable at this point. Be on the look out for his next hit, dropping on the 110BPM Vol. 2 release early next week.

This lurker comes courtesy of Nacey and is straight up MOBBING music. Love the lag in the drums and the far off sirens, makes me feel like I'm running from the cops on a dark night in the LB.

Last but certainly not least we have this new Skrillex chop from the dog David Heartbreak. He and Craze reworked 7 "Loc'd Out" tracks and you can grab them all RIGHT HERE.

Got a special request from the DVR folks to give this track a little "bump". Nothing like some original moombahton to get me motivated, we featured this track and the entire Slo Yo Roll release last week.

Well that'll do it for us again this fine hump day. Time to get back to real work, jam to these tunes, support the artists as always and we'll see you Friday with a fresh pack of mixtapes to get the weekend off to a fine start!
