Toddla T gets Agitated!

Ross Orton and Pipes have come together to remix the entirety of Toddla T's latest full length, Watch Me Dance.  The results of this re-imagining is a dark and bass filed journey through bashment, jungle, UK garage and many more maddening dance beats.  Stand out track for me has to be "Watch Me Dub", a big beat flip of the title track featuring an eerie bit-squashed hook along with equally smashed synth leads.  Agitated drops next week but Mixmag was kind enough to share a stream of the album for us all to preview; take 50 minutes out of your day and bump this thing!!

That Long Weekend Feeling

As stated earlier I'm heading to San Diego tomorrow to cover Comic-Con for GoRadio so I wanted to jump on my mixtape blog today to get in the mood and possibly pick up a few mixes for my (and hopefully some of your) trip!  So many tapes, they've been falling like rain over the last few days and since I missed last week I've got some pilling up in my soundcloud favorites.  Fresh mixes from A-Trak, Crookers, Pipes, and many more so let's get to 'em!!

Friday the 13th Tape Action

JASON LIVES! Just kidding, that fool is dead and buried.  He'll have plenty of time back in hell to relive some of his best kills though but don't think today is an unlucky day because we've got some MOST EXCELLENT mixtapes to get your weekend started off right.  This week we've got great stuff yet again from ETC! ETC! and Benzona, Astronomar, Sazon Booya, and much more so let's just right in feet first.
