This morning John Monsoon, the man known as
Lightning Eyez, formally announced via social networking platforms that this year's Spring Of Moombahton compilation will be comprised of contest entires hand selected by the moombahtonistas of old. Of the eleven prospective tracks three of them will be voted on by fans via
soundcloud and the remaining eight will be picked by folks like Dee Jay Umb (
Generation Bass), Neil Queen-Jones (
Vamos Promo), Marcus Dowling (
Moombahton.com), and 4 more mystery judges.
La Primavera Del Moombahton will be released on the Summer Solstice (June 20th) with entries due by May 1st; voting will happen the first two weeks of May. More information about the contest, including cover art submissions, is available
