Astronomar and
Swick have proven in the form of their new EP,
Horse Code (out today on
Echufada). While they may be fine producers on their own, when these dudes get together there's a certain magic that doesn't come across in their individual work. This release is full of club ready bangers, chiefly among them--in my opinion--is the title track. The heavy kick drum drives it down dark alleys and takes down all enemies who stand in its way; and when it really jumps into overdrive about a minute and a half in you'll be nodding your head and tapping your foot to the beat.
